Palo Alto College Cosmetology ranked among best in Texas

Palo Alto College has been ranked among the top cosmetology schools in Texas by Best Value Schools.

The College’s program came in third on the Best 14 Cosmetology Schools in Texas in 2021. The online education publisher researches thousands of colleges and universities to find the best schools that meet the needs of prospective students at the best price. Best Value Schools looked at tuition costs and enrollment figures to rank the schools.

As the only program of its kind offered in the Bexar County region by a public college, the program provides students with the foundational skills and latest trends across an array of beauty and skin services.

Palo Alto College offers a Cosmetology Certificate Level 2 program or an Associate of Applied Science degree as an operator or esthetician that prepares students for the cosmetology licensing exam. Classes for this degree include fundamentals of cosmetology, hair color theory, and introduction to haircutting theory, among others.
